The Collective Research Programme
The cornerstones of the EU Collective Research Programme are as follows:
· Projects typically have a duration of 2 to 3 years implemented at European level
· Projects enforce the technological orientation of a certain sector
· The research is carried out by the research performers on behalf of the Industrial Associations/Groupings and/or Research Associations to enlarge the knowledge base and to increase the competitiveness of a large group of SME
· The Intellectual Property remains with the IAGs, one of which is eligible to be the Co-ordinator of the project
· A project must incorporate an SME Core Group to be an integral part of all project phases
· The dissemination of results will reach out to a wide audience of SME
· Staff in SME and IAGs are trained
· There will be concrete results by means of applicable new knowledge supporting the development of new products, methods or servicesFurther information:
